WHY WE'RE HERE
Being a supplier to the exploration industry puts us in a unique position where we get to visit projects far & wide across the world and what we are finding more and more is that organisations now want to extract maximum value from their millions of dollars of core samples, rather than leaving them languishing in a paddock and being lost over time.
Your drill core comes with many costs. It is a huge investment with a massive amount of locked-in future value. You want to store your core in a way that preserves its integrity and makes them easily retrievable.
Core shed work practices are responsible for many workplace injuries. Often from lifting heavy, awkward, or broken core trays. Safety in the core shed starts with the core tray. Unfortunately, there is no standard for core trays. The material and size are largely a result of a decision decades ago. Different regions around the world use different dimensions and different materials. Eliminating these OH&S issues, providing efficient workflows, and using appropriate equipment, creates an efficient environment that encourages a diverse team & improves staff retention.

JESSICA KEAST - DIRECTOR
Jessica has over 12 years experience working with the mining industry supplying a wide range of geological equipment. More recently Jessica has focused on the supply of CoreSafe core trays, helping mines around the globe optimise their core shed workflows, minimise workplace injuries and to protect and catalogue their core.
Jessica is a Geoscience Champion, she’s passionate about sharing stories & learnings in geoscience through her passion project, the geohug series, where she shares knowledge and insights from geology experts from all over the world.
